ok.at last,i've got my braces!hehe i was kinda scared at first cuz ALL of my friends and family said that it WILL hurt!bad!but it turns out ok exactly.i only experienced a mild pain after a few hours and for a couple of days after the braces were fitted,the flossing is quite painful at first but it gets better:) i'm using Damon braces as my ortho recommended it so that i won't be flying to Kay Kay every month.i was kinda down at first cuz it doesn't have those colorful ligatures(is that right?) and that it's either half-metal,half ceramic(Damon 3) or all metal.mine is the all metal one,damon 3mx.here's the pic of the bracket,

it is actually kinda smaller than the conventional braces.and after doing my research with this type of braces,it is actually way.way better than the conventional braces.it's more easier to clean exactly and the treatment will be faster. for more info on this braces,here's the official website. www.damonbraces.com
